hey guys,
In these days I wanted to make a christmas present for myself, and I decided to buy some brushes and ink online.
I'm actually using SpeedBall Super Black India Ink, and I'm pretty satisfied with it, but I also wanted to try something new, maybe better than Speedball.
Can you suggest me another type of ink?

Thank you and Happy New Year!

Pelikan drawing ink.

Not as good as it was in the 80's...but still the best you're going to find and use.

Works well with brush or pen.

'nuff said! ;)

pelikan's the stuff. not as thick as speedball, but thicker than black magic, and dark enough to print well.

thank you, you're not the first who speaks about Pelican. I'll have to give it a try! Thank you again, and Happy New Year!

I've heard of some adding a bit of speedball to pelican to darken it a bit. I usually use Pelican but I'm about to try some Dr.Martin India Ink. I've been looking to try the Windsor Newton Ink that Bob Hardin uses. Has anyone tried any Asian ink used in calligraphy? I was considering trying some of those brands next.

I had a bottle of some kind of chinese ink (no brand, it was just an anonimous bottle). It was incredibly black, never seen something like that. But it was incredibly thick, so I passed on it...
